Overview

Discover how Brainspotting and Reiki can work together, grounded in science, guided by intuition to support nervous system repair, emotional release, and energetic restoration.

This 6-hour live, online seminar is designed for mental health and healing professionals who are ready to explore the intersection of neuroscience and energy-based healing. By combining the precision of Brainspotting with the restorative properties of Reiki, participants will learn how to support clients in achieving deeper nervous system repair, emotional release, and energetic balance.

Grounded in science and guided by intuition, this training offers both didactic and experiential learning. Participants will gain a strong foundation in the neurobiological underpinnings of Brainspotting, the principles of Reiki, and how these two modalities can complement one another in practice. Through live demonstrations, group attunement, dyad practice, and structured debriefs, providers will walk away with practical skills they can integrate immediately into clinical and healing settings.

This seminar is approved for 6 CE hours and includes access to a recorded replay for continued learning.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this 6-hour seminar, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify key principles of Brainspotting (including the Uncertainty Principle, Dual Attunement Frame, and Three Legs of Brainspotting) and explain how they can be integrated with Reiki practice.
  2. Describe the neurobiological and energetic mechanisms that support the integration of Brainspotting and Reiki, including brain wave functioning and the role of the bioenergetic field.
  3. Apply Brainspotting set-ups in conjunction with Reiki techniques during guided experiential practice and dyads.
  4. Demonstrate effective facilitation of Brainspotting sessions that incorporate Reiki principles, and Reiki sessions that incorporate Brainspotting principles.
  5. Differentiate between implicit and explicit applications of Brainspotting and Reiki within clinical and healing contexts.
  6. Document integrative Brainspotting + Reiki sessions with clear and applicable case notes appropriate to professional settings.

Target Audience


This seminar is open to all licensed professional counselors, social workers, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, occupational therapists, substance abuse counselors, and other licensed helping professionals seeking to expand their clinical skills.

It is also open to students and practitioners who have foundational training in Brainspotting (Phase 1 or higher) and/or Reiki (Level I or above) and wish to deepen their integration of these modalities.

Instructor

Heather Corbet, MOTR/L

Occupational Therapist, Spiritual Advisor, Holistic Healer, Brainspotting Consultant & Specialty Workshop Presenter

Heather Corbet has over 20 years of experience in the human development and healing fields. She is an Occupational Therapist, Brainspotting Consultant, Reiki Master Teacher, and Spiritual Advisor who integrates clinical expertise with holistic and intuitive approaches.

Heather has trained extensively in Brainspotting, attending and assisting in Phases 1–4, Masters, and multiple specialty intensives, and co-trains in specialty workshops on Brainspotting, Spirituality, and Intuition. She specializes in grief and loss, sensory processing, neurodivergence, ADHD, OCD, highly sensitive people, medical anomalies, creatives, and performers.

As a Reiki Master Teacher, Heather has presented at national conferences and has incorporated Reiki into clinical and spiritual practice for over a decade. She has been combining Brainspotting, Reiki, and spirituality for the past five years to support clients in accessing deep nervous system regulation, energetic restoration, and intuitive development.

Heather is known for her ability to create a safe, attuned presence while guiding both clients and professionals through transformative experiences.
